Exciting new beginnings
Hello! Hi.
Hello dear reader. My name is Gytis. I'm a self-thought painter and art creator from Lithuania. For the ones that don’t know me yet, I've been actively creating for the past 6 years, modeling at the same time all over the world for the last 8 years, mostly focusing on mixed media experiments and creations. A lot of my work comes from absorbing information around me, exploring life experience and seeking inspiration there. Trial and error happens in life, very similarly in my work, it is an organic way of existing. Experimentation for the need to express my internal world and it's interaction with this physical world inspires a lot of what I do. Oh yeah.. i can get philosophical about it haha ! Moving on now I’m excited to finally share what I have worked on in these past months. Creating this website was my main priority in this period. Now that the building of the website is more or less complete, I'm looking forwards to new artistic adventures, it has been a minit, and mostly to share it with you here.
The purpose ?
This is blog post Nr 1. Essentially, I want it to be easy and fulfilling for those who have an interest in my work. I will try to give a bit of an inside look at what's going on with the projects I'm creating, an honest look. I can explain a bit of the thought process that goes into making a painting. They do have unique ways to manifest. I want to add sketches and notes that helped me in the journey. I think in time this blog will take many shapes as I get used to it, but the purpose will remain the same.
